Board members:
Chairman | initiator
My name is Andrew and I've been playing table tennis since I was 14 years old. Together with Mariska I founded Almere United in 2015. Our aim was to create a modern organisation, with new and refreshing ideas. To me, it is very important that all members feel like they are welcome to participate. Someone's level of play, origin, age: none of it all matters. At AU there's room for everyone to enjoy playing table tennis!

Secretary | initiator
I'm Mariska, a fan of the table tennis sport, but also the only one in my family who doesn't play... except for during fun tournaments. With this club I would like to innovate and get people to take a step forward, not just physically.

Board Member for Youth Affairs
My name is Remco Goossens. At Almere United, I am the competition secretary for our youth players as well as a board member for youth affairs. On top of that, I try to bring upcoming tournaments to the attention of our members. I've been helping out at AU for a while now, trying - in any way I can - to turn our club into the best that Flevoland has to offer.

I'm Emma and I've been playing table tennis since I was 11 years old. After having participated in youth competitions for several years, I'm now a few years into participating at a senior level. From the moment AU was created, I've helped out with all sorts of errands, but given my background as a graphics designer I mainly enjoy creating new designs and concepts that can be used in our social media posts.
Activities Committee
Our Activities Committee is responsible for organizing club and neighborhood activities, events and tournaments. For more information about the activities you can check our calendar or contact this committee.
This position is vacant. Interested? Contact the board members.
Tournament Directors
Our Tournament Directors are responsible for tournaments hosted by Almere United, making all decisions regarding the tournament format as well as being present on the day to ensure things run smoothly.
My name is Wayne and I've been a member of Almere United since January 2016. Aside from the hours spent at AU and on my job as a Software Testing Engineer, I mainly spend my time playing games, writing stories and watching football.
