My name is Andrew and I’ve played table tennis since I was a kid. This fall I will play in the 2nd League Team of Almere United. I’m an experienced manager and table tennis coach and want to enthuse and inspire others to apply their talents. I’m a socially engaged person and want to use Almere United to carry this out.

I’m a fan of the table tennis sport and have a passion for education. I've had an educational training and have experience in coaching and mentoring students (young and old). With this club I would like to innovate and get people to take a step forward, not just physically.
Hello sports friends, I'm Bart Roelofsma, aged 42, an absolute layman in the field of table tennis but a big fan of the sport and the 'club life' around it. I didn't have to think long when I was asked to be the treasurer for AU and will thereby make good use of my board experience in other clubs. I will look after the till with pleasure and perhaps in the meantime you'll teach me to hit back a ball too!
Our club has the intention to form a number of committees responsible for specific tasks. Each committee has one coordinator and a number of members who help carry out these tasks. Both senior and youth members can join a committee (the coordinator must be 18 years or older). Below is an overview of the committees that our club wants to start with:
Committee PR & Communication
Committee PR & Communication is responsible for internal and external communication; the (social) media, digital newsletter and communication with members and partners. Receive more information about the club or do you have a question. Please contact us.

Besides table tennis I play bass and guitar, and I'm very busy with making music. Furthermore, I can put the rest of my creativity in photography. As a member of this club I also want to do my part, therefor I'm a member of the activities committee and we're gonna organize a lot of fun parties.
Committee Technical & Educational

Flip Valero - head of training youth and seniors
I'm currently playing table tennis for about 30 years. Playing yourself is of course fun, but it's always fun to do something for the club. About 18 years ago, I accidentally started training the youth of ttc Elan and I really found my passion. Working with youth is really fun, especially to make them exceed and teach children something. After my period at ttc Elan I gave training for about 5 years at ttc Rega and I also got into the Youth Committee and departmental board. Completely different from training players but also very fun to do. At this moment I'm still accompanying a team in the national B class. When I was asked to give training at ttc Almere United, I got to know the club and the members a little better and found a group that's enthusiastic and eager to learn; I definitely see a challenge. I also find it important to see the games as a trainer because you can see the improvement points there. Working hard with great fun and trying to make everybody better together, is the challenge I would like to take on!
I’m Jesper, I’m 19 years old and I play in the national League of table tennis. My goal is to teach you as much as possible, so that you can play as high as possible in the League. This of course goes hand in hand with fun and educational training sessions.
